General Terms and Conditions

1. Coverage

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed through our online store. Our online store is exclusively aimed at consumers.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity, who acts in the exercise of their trade, business, or profession when entering into a legal transaction.

2. Contractual Partner, Formation of Contract, Correction Facilities

The purchase contract is concluded with Jan Kath Design GmbH.

By placing products in the online store, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these products. You can initially place our products in the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction aids provided and explained in the ordering process. The contract is concluded by clicking the order button to accept the offer for the products in the shopping cart. Immediately after sending the order, you will receive another confirmation by email.

3. Contract Language, Storage of Contract Text

The language(s) available for concluding the contract: German, English

We store the contract text and send you the order data and our GTC in text form. The contract text is no longer accessible over the Internet for security reasons.

4. Delivery Conditions

Shipping Costs

In addition to the indicated prices, shipping costs may apply. More detailed provisions on possibly applicable shipping costs can be found in the offers.

Delivery Options

We ship the products to the delivery address specified in the order process.

You generally have the option to pick up at Jan Kath Design GmbH, Friederikastr. 148, 44789 Bochum, Germany, during the following business hours: MO-TH: 10 am - 6 pm; FR: 10 am - 4 pm

5. Payment

In our shop, the following payment methods are generally available:

 

Advance Payment

If you select advance payment, we will provide you with our bank details in a separate email and deliver the goods upon receipt of payment.

Credit Card

In the order process, you enter your credit card details. Your card will be charged immediately after placing the order.

SEPA Direct Debit Scheme

By placing the order, you grant us a SEPA direct debit mandate. We will inform you of the date of the account debit at least one banking business day in advance (so-called prenotification). A banking business day is any weekday except Saturdays, national public holidays, and December 24 and December 31 of each year. The account debit occurs before the goods are shipped.

PayPal, PayPal Express

To be able to pay the invoice amount via the payment service provider PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A, 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (“PayPal”), you must be registered with PayPal, authenticate with your access data and confirm the payment instruction. The payment transaction is carried out by PayPal immediately after placing the order. Further information can be found in the ordering process.

PayPal may offer additional payment methods to registered and selected PayPal customers in their account. We have no influence on offering these modalities; additional individually offered payment methods concern your legal relationship with PayPal. For more information, see your PayPal account.

7. Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find here. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
